About Neighborhood Watch

Neighborhood Watch is a program aimed at preventing crime and making our home and families safer.   It is a partnership between the Denver Police Department and the community.  Neighborhood Watch means watching out for each other by reporting suspicious persons, vehicles and activities to the police department.  Neighborhood Watch means getting to know your neighbors and sharing what you see.  Together we can be much more effective than if we work separately.   Neighborhood Watch also includes resources to mark your valuables with a unique identification number that will make them less attractive to thieves. If your block or building participates, the Denver Police Department will provide you with decals for your doors/windows and install street signs warning criminals that the neighbors are organized against crime.
